Dr. Janet Z. Giler, is a licensed family therapist with over thirty years of experience. She has helped many people cope with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, anger, as well as resolve specific marriage and family conflicts using solution-oriented family therapy (a short-term model to help people change.) A specialist in helping people through difficult life transitions, Dr. Giler’s practice uses an eclectic mix of psychodynamic and behavioral methods. Her focus on solutions enables her to quickly work through conflicts, traumas and psychological blocks in her work with individuals, families and couples. For the last fifteen years, she has worked with families with who have children with Special Needs with a focus on Attention Deficit Disorder and Learning Disabilities.
